Megan A. Cahill

Megan A. Cahill is a trial attorney and associate at The Banks Firm. At the firm, Ms. Cahill has experience in all stages of the litigation process, including drafting motions, pleadings, discovery responses and depositions.

Ms. Cahill received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable David A. Boynton in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. During her clerkship, Ms. Cahill conducted extensive legal researching and analysis. She also drafted memoranda, orders and opinions on a variety of civil and criminal matters, including complex civil litigation.

Ms. Cahill earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, where she majored in Chemistry and minored in Mathematics. Before attending law school, she spent two years working as a chemist for the Army where she studied the decontamination and neutralization of chemical and biochemical weapons.

Ms. Cahill’s unique academic background and work experience allows her to better serve clients and bring a more informed perspective to the technical aspects of complex medical malpractice cases.

When not advocating for her clients, Ms. Cahill is an avid runner and recently completed the Marine Corps Marathon.
